For established US companies
Your company’s workflow data has value. License it carefully.
AI labs pay a one-time fee for anonymized records of how work moves through a business, between email, Slack or Teams, and your CRM. We introduce companies to micro1, which handles the licensing, and help you decide whether it’s worth doing.
How it works
Three steps. You can stop at any point before signing, and nothing leaves your systems until you do.
-
A short questionnaire
A few questions about your company’s size and the tools your team uses day to day. No data is shared at this stage.
-
A no-obligation quote
micro1 reviews your answers and tells you what your data is likely worth. If the number doesn’t make sense for you, that’s the end of it.
-
One-time export and payment
If you go ahead, your own team runs a single export under a written data agreement, and your company is paid a one-time fee.
What companies are paid: typically $200K to $2M, depending on the size of the company and the data. That’s a general range, not a quote.
Privacy, plainly
The question every company asks first. Here is exactly how it works.
-
Only how work flows
Buyers don’t want personally identifiable information, customer lists, pricing or IP. They want to understand how work moves.
-
Stripped before anyone sees it
Names, clients and contact details are stripped and replaced before a lab ever sees anything.
-
No outside access
Your team runs a one-time export. There’s no outside access to your systems.
-
Deleted within 120 days
Raw data is deleted within 120 days, and you keep ownership.
-
In writing, reviewed by your attorney
Everything is covered by a written data agreement your attorney can review before signing.
Questions
Honest answers to what people usually ask.
Is this legit?
Fair question. micro1 works with AI labs on training data, and the licensing is done directly between your company and micro1 under a written agreement. Guardrail Data is an independent member of micro1’s referral program: we make the introduction and answer your questions, and micro1 pays us a fee if your company joins. Nothing is binding until you sign, and you can have your attorney review the agreement first.
What data, exactly?
Records of how work moves between your email, Slack or Teams, and your CRM. Names, clients and contact details are stripped and replaced before a lab sees anything. Buyers aren’t looking for personal information, customer lists, pricing or IP.
Who are the buyers?
AI labs building tools that help with everyday business work. They want realistic examples of how real teams operate. micro1 handles the licensing, and labs only receive anonymized data.
What does it cost me?
Nothing. There’s no fee to your company at any stage. Our referral fee is paid by micro1, not by you. The only real cost is a little of your team’s time to run the export.
What if we decide not to go ahead?
Then nothing happens. The quote carries no obligation, and no data leaves your systems unless you sign and run the export yourselves.
